- Provide general IT support to all levels of the organization and across all departments
- Manage an ongoing queue of IT related requests from employees;
- Work with the IT Manager to identify and prioritize critical requests as needed
- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, phone and/or email in a user-friendly and professional manner
- Keep end users informed about the status of issues
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues involving internet connectivity, email issues, VOIP, wireless devices, printers, RF guns and more
- Work to support vendors (MSP, ERP consultant, telecommunications vendor, print services company, etc) as needed to resolve technical issues across all business applications and IT related equipment
- Work with the IT Manager to negotiate contracts
- Maintain agreements with IT vendors (i.e. telecommunication, software agreements, etc)
- Assist IT Manager in maintaining comprehensive documentation of IT environment
- Must be able to travel short distances on rare occasions (travel costs to be reimbursed)
- Occasional weekend, evening, or other non-standard work hours may be required
- Occasional physical effort (i.e. lifting, moving computer equipment)
