Our client needs a Lead Developer for eCommerce who will assist the Director of IT Development Operations to design, develop, implement, and support mission-critical enterprise software applications and services based largely on Drupal/PHP and Gatsby React platforms as the company continues to grow in both the domestic and international marketplaces.
Responsibilities of the Lead Drupal Developer/Architect:- Translate business requirements into technical specifications; build solutions that drive integration and innovation
- Provide strategic vision and direction for short, medium, and long-term roadmap of eCommerce platform
- Maintain high standards of software quality and delivery through adherence to proven Agile SDLC practices
- Provide coaching, mentorship, technical leadership, and code reviews for solutions written in Drupal 8/PHP 7 and Gatsby React
- Lead DevOps eCommerce team as it continuously optimizes DevOps processes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- At least 5 years of in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in full stack development
- Experience building solutions in Drupal 8 and writing in PHP7
- Extensive experience with modern JS libraries and frameworks, responsive frameworks, and current front end technologies (CSS3, HTML5)
- Experience building and consuming APIs and RESTful web services
- Experience with React (Gatsby React preferred) and front end architecture
- Proficient in Azure DevOps related to modern SDLC practices
- Solid understanding of Agile software development practices
- Solid understanding of QA/UAT processes and related technologies
- Acquia platform experience is ideal
- Motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills
