This role resides in our FP&A practice within Finance.The individual filling this role will be responsible for managing Finance activities for the North America geography and CRB North America business including geography and business leader financial support, financial performance management process (budgeting, forecasting, etc. in conjunction with Financial Planning & Analysis and Investor Relations functions), standard and ad hoc reporting and analysis, operating processes (in conjunction with Global Financial Services and global process leaders), controls compliance, policy implementation and interpretation and business transformation.This role can be based anywhere in the United StatesThe RoleAct as a valued strategic finance business partner to the North America geography leadership and CRB North America business leadership through thoughtful analysis of financial information and trends that drives actionable decisions to deliver superior financial performance that meets and/or exceeds internal and external stakeholder financial objectives. Work with each team to proactively identify and help solve performance issues. Regarded as a key contributor to each team in shaping the long-term business strategy to drive superior performance.

Build and manage a high performing finance team that maintains a strong “client service” focus and culture and delivers value-added financial reporting and analysis to the North America geography and CRB North America management team. Develop and manage strong working relationships with various departments within Corporate Finance as well as with leaders in Segments, Geographies and Corporate Functions. Engage other departments to promote and model collaboration and sharing of best practices.

Work seamlessly as a team with Corporate FP&A in serving business financial needs in the most efficient and effective way for the company. Coordinate, facilitate and be proactive in representing the geography perspective with regards to key global financial performance management measures as relevant for the respective segment

Coordinate a strong internal control environment and close process in partnership with controllership within the segment/geography; key areas include controls over revenue recognition, sales accounting, contract management, partner relations and financial reporting processes.

Engage and partner with the WTW Transformation Program to drive an optimized segment/geography finance service delivery organization that will deliver enhanced value in terms of financial reporting, analysis and controls.

Lead the North America geography finance team in the execution of robust monthly and quarterly end close processes and financial reviews so both the North America geography and CRB North America business leadership teams understand what the risks and opportunities are. Areas of focus for North America geography include Other Regional Segment (ORS), go-to-market client activities, client revenue and client profitability. Areas of focus for CRB North America include detailed financial analysis of CRB P&L revenue drivers and metrics, WIP/AR management, P&L cost driver analysis, investment cases and sales/talent pipeline assessment.

Drive the development of the monthly North America ORS and CRB North America P&L forecasts and annual plan with the monthly forecasts serving as a mechanism to assess the financial risks and opportunities that North America ORS and CRB North America faces as they strive to meet their plan objectives and the annual plan ensuring financial targets are set to enable WTW will meet internal and external stakeholder objectives.

Serves as the key CRB NA finance leader in all strategic initiatives that impact CRB North America such as M&A, investment opportunities, enterprise operational initiatives, etc.

The Requirements10+ years related experience in financial analysis and budgeting experience required

Experience with both strategic and operational analyses preferred

Systems and data knowledge to be able to direct colleagues in the accumulation and synthesis of data into operational recommendations

Financial and business acumen as evidenced by having roles with progressively broader financial responsibilities

Strong understanding of the insurance brokerage industry and insurance brokerage platforms

Based in the U.S.

Strong experience in Oracle, Hyperion and MS Office Applications

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Ability to lead team, drive change, develop skills of direct reports, and positively impact team morale

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships in a collaborative fashion

Strong influencing skills

Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or deep related experience; CPA or MBA preferred
