100% REMOTE We're looking for a motivated Software QA Manager to lead our client's globally distributed QA team. You will lead the design, development, and implementation of mission-critical testing activities and documentation across multiple products and platforms.
This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities of the Software QA Manager:- Build and lead a team of onshore and offshore QA and documentation professionals
- Provide direction for a short, medium, and long term roadmap for the QA and UAT practice
- Ensure high standards of software quality and deliver within the team by adhering to proven Agile SDLC practices
- Regularly review backlog items and ensure testing estimates are accurate
- Define and implement enterprise-class standards for documentation
- Provide proactive communication and responsive support for customers
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with an emphasis on software development
- Proven successful history of building and leading a team of software QA professional and technical writers
- Proficient with testing capabilities and backlog management within Azure DevOps
- In-depth understanding of Agile software development practices, QA, and UAT processes and related technologies (Selenium)
- Experience writing technical documentation using mainstream products or services such as Confluence
- Excellent communication skills
