Python Full Stack Developer

Team is onsite 4 days a week, so this person will need to be as well.

This role will report to a Laboratory Operations Team and be the sole developer. Ideally someone who has any prior experience with a pharma or medical R&D company Good communication skills and personality as this person will be very independent with the lab group giving work to be delivered and then check-ins to see where progress is at.

Key duties and responsibilities: ? Play a key role in the development of an integrated bioinformatics solution for biologics research ? Develop architecture and framework to make solution extensible and easy to manage ? Help define and participate in software development processes that support continuous product delivery.

Minimum Qualifications ? Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree with minimum of 3 years of experience developing web-based solutions. ? Experience in developing full stack solutions from inception through implementation

? Proficiency in Python, Django, Celery, and PostgreSQL. ? Experience developing RESTful APIs. ? Comfortable with Git. ? Comfortable with Docker. ? Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams, displaying excellent interpersonal skills. ? Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills. ? Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), with a proven ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, precise, and actionable manner to diverse teams at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications ? Experience working in Life Sciences industry, or with background in biology. ? Knowledge of JavaScript presentation library: React or Vue preferred. ? Previous experience with antibody screening, assay development, and high-throughput protein optimization. ? Experience with writing code to interface with equipment.
