- The QA Automation tester automates manual test cases used for system and regression testing of MassDOT applications.
- Adheres to all MassDOT security standards and directives.
- The QA Automation tester plays a key role in supporting production systems by augmenting and executing the automated regression suite and supports white box testing efforts.
- Should be able to quickly adopt to already existing Selenium/Cucumber/Java/JScript Frameworks or Design
- Automation Frameworks from scratch on new Salesforce Implementations Projects.
- Additionally, the QA Automation tester executes and updates existing automated regression test cases.
- Develop/Maintain Performance test scripts and analyzes the results.
- Contribute to building awareness of testing value and being able to quickly develop UI and Service layer automated scripts in a test environment based on documented manual tests and associated use cases.
- Should be able to write complex SQL Queries to fetch Test data from Database.
- The QA automation tester collects, analyzes, tracks and report metrics of deliverables as per direction of the QA Automation Manager.
- The QA automation tester works on multiple, simultaneous deliverables meeting deadlines without reduction in quality.
- 8+ years of overall Quality Assurance experience in Functional, Automation, API and Performance Testing.
- Demonstrated Expertise in building Test Automation Frameworks from scratch and maintain existing Frameworks.
- 4+ years of strong demonstrated programming experience in Test Automation using Java/Jscript/Selenium/Cucumber.
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience in Automating enterprise Salesforce implementation projects.
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience in Automating Web Services using Rest Assured or Rest API.
- Demonstrated experience in building & executing Performance Scripts/ Scenarios.
- Analyze Execution Reports, perform root cause analysis on test failures and provide corrective actions.
- Demonstrated experience to build complex SQL Queries and run the SQL Stored Procedures to fetch the Test data from existing Databases for Automated Tests.
- Demonstrated experience in building & interacting with dynamic objects built on Salesforce/ServiceNow Platform.
- Exposure to CodeceptJS and Cypress frameworks.
- Strong communication, analytical, documenting, reporting Skills.
- Ability to apply technical knowledge, judgement skills and critical thinking to identify and implement work simplification methods.
- A solid understanding of Quality Assurance as part of the development process.
- Well-versed in all testing methodologies, such as white vs. black box test work and system vs. functional.
