Senior Director - Enterprise Applications - REMOTE

The Senior Director - Enterprise Applications is responsible for the enterprise application technology strategy of Eliassen Group across all three Eliassen Pillars; Talent Solutions, Life Sciences and Professional Services, delivering business value and driving innovation and adaptability into the IT operating model. In this role, the Senior Director - Enterprise Applications develops application strategy aligned with corporate strategic initiatives in order to ensure Eliassen Group is positioned for success now, and in the future, in the areas Eliassen serves.

The Senior Director - Enterprise Applications manages a collaborative and transparent business and technology engagement model. This model pursues a deep understanding of business functions along with the aligned technology needs, advocates opportunities for technology to drive efficiencies and quality, and proactively adapts technology and processes to support strategic objectives. Additionally, the Senior Director - Enterprise Applications manages the budget and delivery of existing applications focused on driving value to clients, consultants, and employees.

The Senior Director -Enterprise Applications works closely with the VP of IT, acting CISO and business stakeholders to ensure application, infrastructure and information security strategies are aligned.

The Senior Director - Enterprise Applications is responsible for technology and operational management of Eliassen applications and vendor management as it relates to those applications.

This role reports to the VP of IT

Essential Duties:

• Provide management of and leadership for technology initiatives that meet evolving business needs in a rapidly changing environment

• Develop and execute Eliassen Group's application strategy across all Eliassen 'pillars'

• Create and maintain an application roadmap based on overarching IT strategy, business strategy, business requirement and budgetary allowances.

• Promote innovation by championing value-based, risk-managed investments and disciplined execution

• Partner with organizational stakeholders to align and prioritize current and future business application-related initiatives in support of the strategic objectives.

• Develop a practical and working knowledge of business processes; interact with key business partners to recommend solutions that best meet the strategic needs.

• Prepare business technology cases as needed, and procure technology in accordance with the business need, budget, and strategic alignment.

• Responsible for management of the implementation of relevant technology in partnership with the business stakeholders

• Convert ideas into working demos, mock-ups in an agile environment

• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and IT security processes and procedures, identifying and addressing any compliance issues

• Maintain an understanding of global laws and regulations related to data privacy, including GDPR, CCPA, and others as applicable

• Act as a thought partner to EVP, Integrations and Operational strategy (acting CISO) and VP of IT on issues relating to application technology strategy

• Participate in/present at industry conferences and webinars as a thought leader , maintaining working knowledge of current and emerging technology industry

Qualifications

• Proven success in building an application technology strategy in support of business strategy

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership role overseeing applications/ technology and leading change required

• Minimum 8 years' experience in Talent Solutions and/or professional services industries is required

• Experience in Life Sciences industry or similar is preferred

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited university

• Management experience effectively leading and growing a team

• Strong knowledge of procedures and best practices related to data privacy compliance

• Ability to think creatively and strategically to capitalize on unstructured, ambiguous business situations

• Excellent communication and team-building skills, highlighting the ability to effectively listen to expert colleagues' insight

• Expert planning and organizing, decision-making and problem-solving skills
