Our Client is lookng to add to their Security Team and lookng to hire A Director for their Enterprise Security Team. This positiion with report directly to the CISO.

The Enterprise Security Lead will oversee the firms enterprise-wide security operations and transformation functions. This individual will be responsible for translating strategic intent into an operational security program, coordinating Application Security, Infrastructure Vulnerability Management, Data Security and Protection, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, Identity and Access Management, Cyber Threat Operations, and Cybersecurity Testing. The role will also include oversight of general managed services teams (e.g., security monitoring and incident response). This role will be responsible for helping to resolve key cyber-business issues and escalating as appropriate to other parts of the organization. Overall, this person will be a thought leader and an integrator of the companies people, processes, and technologies with a lens on securing the firms assets!

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Design, implement, and operate cybersecurity processes and technologies across the enterprise
  • Lead Identity and Access Management projects, from their conception all the way through execution, reporting, and continuous improvement
  • Oversee Asset Management programs and enhancements of existing systems and methodologies.
  • Drive design and implementation of enterprise cloud security strategies in close collaboration with Security Architecture and Governance & Risk teams.
  • Lead deep collaboration with the Information Technology (IT) team to execute across strategic security priorities and drive continuous improvement of cybersecurity program capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely among the Enterprise Security team and other corporate departments and divisions.
  • Proactively handle cybersecurity capability development, compromises, and respond to incidents.
  • Provide cybersecurity operations and configuration assurance.
  • Provide key performance and risk indicators for the CISO, Technology Services, and the board of directors.
  • Collaborate with the Security Strategy & Planning teams to develop roadmaps, improvement strategies, and other transformational activities for the operations team.
  • Provide monitoring and detection capabilities for the security organization and the broader enterprise.
  • Identify and remediate threats and vulnerabilities to the environment, including management of vulnerabilities, policy gaps, and security findings.
  • Run identification and mitigation of application cybersecurity risks.
  • Develop and test incident response strategies and communication plans.
  • Protect network and endpoints.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Proven skills and capabilities as a manager of people, including development of high performing teams.
  • Domain knowledge for the following cybersecurity capability areas: Application Security, Vulnerability Management, Data Security and Protection, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, Identity and Access Management, Cyber Threat Operations, Cybersecurity Testing.
  • Understanding of the zero trust security model.
  • Superb communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets.
  • Ability to thrive and learn rapidly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in technology strategy or consulting.
  • Shown success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Experience with related tools and technology vendors (e.g., CrowdStrike).
  • Minimum requirement for this U.S.-based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.
  • No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency () process.

Other Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of enterprise security control frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO) and cybersecurity risk frameworks (e.g., FAIR).
  • CISM - Certified Information Security Manager
  • CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional
  • CompTIA Security+

Education & Experiences:

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Management, or related fields are a plus, but not required; practical experience is taken into consideration
  • 6+ years of experience in information security and 5+ years in a leadership role
