Our team collaborates heavily with our customer in order to deliver the best path to transform our customer's application needs into reality given their unique security requirements. The DevSecOps Engineer position will contribute to a research and experimentation team to select and implement specific DevSecOps technologies and tools hosted within an Azure development environment. Additionally, the DevSecOps Engineer will support application development teams via a DevSecOps pipeline. The DevSecOps Engineer will also participate in customer discussions on new services and products that the pipeline can offer to incoming projects. Key Duties/Responsibilities:- Identify and recommend DevSecOps tools for implementation in an Azure development environment.
- Analyze existing DevSecOps tools in the development environment and recommend improvements.
- Work with the experimentation team to troubleshoot issues with tools and the Azure environment.
- Help develop an application workflow to transfer approved applications into additional application development environments.
- Configure and maintain tools within the development environment.
- Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; other work experience and certifications considered in lieu of degree requirements
- Experience with IaC (infrastructure as code) and CaC (configuration as code), and toolsets including Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.
- Experience in DevSecOps implementation using Jenkins, Gitlab, or similar tools.
- Experience in developing and managing Kubernetes (k8s) clusters.
- Working knowledge of Source Version Control and Build/Release tools and methodologies
- Possess a strong understanding of Software Build process and how it connects to CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous delivery)
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban frameworks
- DevOps or DevSecOps certification or training
- Microsoft AZ-204 certification
- Microsoft AZ-400 certification
