Role Description: The

Contracts Manager must have at least 5-7 years of experience.

Responsibilities: Negotiate and manage enterprise-wide agreements with Marketing and Public Relations vendors ensuring timely, accurate and market-competitive rates. Assist affiliate department managers and Marketing staff in managing the Company transactional marketing needs through preferred vendors. Assist in the preparation of analyses of budgets and documentation for major initiatives, minimizing TCO. Support end users in the procurement of strategic consulting service and other professional services including coding, billing, revenue capture, interpretive and translation, medical records management, 3rd party clinician, workforce training and development, development and planned giving, public relations, business development and marketing, market research, leadership training, audit, HR support including recruiting and outplacement, clinical sample testing Stay current on industry best practices and continuously improve knowledge transfer from the Companys corporate end user Participate in RFP evaluation, market analyses, contract negotiation and contract execution Work closely with members of finance, IT, legal, HR and end users throughout the contracting and negotiating lifecycle Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and manufacturers; develop strategic alliances within the organization. Participate as an active member of committees and special projects as assigned by management Seek opportunities to consolidate staffing vendors, lower costs and improve operational efficiency

Requirements: 5-7 years in a procurement-related position Strong competitive market analytical skills Understanding of intellectual property rights Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain best practices Expertise in strategic planning and sourcing, contract negotiations, cost savings, vendor management, and customer relations Experience in dealing with and first-hand knowledge of a variety of Marketing providers in the healthcare industry.

Must Haves: More than 7 years of experience in a similar contracting role. Experience contracting with software vendors Demonstrated ability to identify and lead strategic initiatives Experience working in a high volume, fast paced environment Experience assessing risk, negotiating contract language and cost familiarity with any Contract Management System familiarity with Supply Chain processes

Other Preferred Attributes: Relevant Industry Certifications including CPM Excellent verbal and written communications skills Competent presentation skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Word and Excel; familiarity with PeopleSoft and SharePoint administration a plus.

Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
