The role

CST is growing globally and so is our Product Information Management (PIM) team. Our PIM team is responsible for enterprise-level data systems that support both Product MDM (Master Data Management) and DAM (Digital Asset Management). We are expanding our team with a Data Steward to join our core team. As a Data Steward you will work closely with both scientists and business units across the organization to harmonize data across systems and help refine data models and taxonomies, to provide users access to reliable product data and high-quality images.

You'll have the opportunity to.
  • Support enterprise metadata identification and cataloging efforts
  • Provide technical subject matter expert knowledge and consulting
  • Analyze, map, and document the current state of data landscape and propose future state
  • Document user requirements in support of roadmap objectives
  • Work across functional boundaries and collaborate
  • Assist teams with testing and production support including building testing artifacts
  • Tackle complex problems, proactively anticipate project needs and offer solutions

Who you are and what you bring to the team.
  • People view you as a great collaborator with a hands-on mentality
  • You have a passion for data analysis and have at least 3 years' experience as a data steward in enterprise systems such as product information management (PIM), Digital Asset Manager (DAM) and/or scientific data management systems
  • You like to work in an international, fast-paced scientific work environment
  • You have experience with MDM and/or DAM Platforms
  • You understand working within an A gile framework and the use of issue tracking software, such as Jira
  • Understanding of systems engineering concepts
  • You are comfortable working remotely with a high level of autonomy and can effectively manage your workload based on the organization's priorities
  • Experience in a biotechnology or life sciences-related field is an advantage
  • You have a bachelor's degree in computer science or similar
  • Excellent communication skills in English
