Unified Communications/Collaboration Lead

Summary:The Unified Communication and Collaboration Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the delivery of project assignments, including the analysis, design and architecture, deployment and support of the Avaya and Microsoft Office 365 platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the product manager for Office 365 collaboration product or product features from evaluating the preview to rolling it out to the users worldwide. Work with the Collaboration team to help make key decisions on priorities and design and works to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned
  • Understands both the engineering and business side of Office 365 and other collaboration tools and is ultimately responsible for representing the end-user's needs
  • Provides and/or oversees business application functional support services to meet customer performance, availability, service level agreements and customer satisfaction targets. Oversees monitoring of Office 365 tools and tuning of such systems for availability and performance
  • Prioritizes, improvises and adapts technologies to address changing business needs and issues as measured by achievements toward business outcomes and value
  • Support a growing team of Collaboration Engineers driving performance, teamwork, and accountability through coaching, development, employee recognition
  • Deliver subject matter expertise of Office365 and provide value add information and guidance to the team for defining Office365 roadmaps, lifecycle management, roll out strategies, and driving adoption that strengthen the Microsoft infrastructure, security, and end-user client experience
  • Drives completion of root cause analysis, resolution of outages, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions in conjunction with internal teams and vendors

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • 7+ years of job related experience in Information Systems, with experience as business analyst, project management, product owner,
  • 3+ years of experience administering an Office 365 environment
  • 2+ years of supervisor experience
  • Prior experience in Agile or ITIL methodologies preferred
