Small well-established electrical contractor looking for an experienced electrical apprentice/helper. This position includes benefits after 30 days along with a $250.00 sign-on bonus.
Scope of work: (all to be performed under the supervision of our licensed electricians)
-Install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures and control equipment
-Install and maintain multiple types of electrical systems in residential and commercial job sites
-Install and/or replace new lighting and lighting control systems
-Replace receptacles
-Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment
-Remain in compliance with current National Electric Code
-Inspect and test components of electrical systems
-Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs
-Run computer cables, connect computer jacks, and plugs and test for adequate operation
Requirements
-Proficient with hand tools
-Ability to lift 30 lbs.
-Ability to problem solve
-Ability to work independently
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to manage time properly
-Valid driver's license
