TIG WELDING POSITIONS - TO START IMMEDIATELY
all shifts 1st and 2nd shifts available 6am- 4pm or 3:30 pm - 1:30 am
The Indirect Repair Welder will visually review a robotic welded tank for defects and repair these defects utilizing both TIG welding practices and equipment. Indirect repair welding requires TIG welding utilizing the existing metal, When large gaps are present the operator needs to revert to using the filler rod in order to fill the gaps from the robot weld. Indirect welding is all stainless to stainless welding only, no other bi-metals are involved.
Job Duties Include:
- Responsible to insure good welding practices are adhered to
- Inspects completed piece to insure it meets all quality standards and specifications
- Communicates with fellow workers and superiors to maintain safety and quality
- Maintains tools and equipment in good working order
- Responsible for housekeeping
- Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by following company safety policy and procedures by wearing all safety personal protective equipment "PPE" to maintain a safe work environment at all times
- A basic understanding of proper welding practices utilizing both TIG and MIG welding
- The knowledge of what is and is not a proper weld joint
Hours: Monday-Thursday 6am-4pm. Mandatory Fridays
