Sharing the Harvest Community Farm is seeking to hire energetic and hardworking individuals to fulfill our seasonal, paid Farm Field Trip Leader positions. We are looking for self-starting candidates who can engage both individuals and student groups in our educational gardens and farm fields.
As a Farm Field Trip Leader, you will share your passion for farm-based education with our local students and volunteers. Responsibilities will include leading farm orientations, guiding group educational activities and increasing hunger awareness. Farm Field Trip Leaders will also provide support to farm staff as needed.
This position will require standing for long periods of time, bending, stooping and lifting up to 50 pounds at a time. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have reliable transportation, and be available weekdays for 15 to 20 hours a week from May 1 to June 15th.
