One of our New Bedford clients who provides high quality instrument maintenance, repair, and manufacturing services is seeking a full-time CNC Programmer. Working hours Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm with overtime on Saturdays if necessary.
Salary will be determined with experience and skill set ($28 - $40 per hour)
Job Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience
Experience with Mastercam a MUST
Experience with PartMaker and Solidworks a plus
Responsible for effectively managing complex CNC programs from inception through to complete debugging, implementation and documentation of a proven process
Ability to read blueprints, GD&T a plus
Understanding of tooling, machine controllers, programming and set-up of CNC controlled Lathes and/or Mill machines
Working knowledge of G Code
Position requires an initiative to refine and enhance existing programs/processes in order to continually improve current methodologies and meet/exceed company goals with respect to quality, productivity, safety, cost and compliance
Independent with ability to solve problems
Must be a team player
