Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the enterprise integration, implementation, configuration and support of communications technologies (VOIP, Enterprise Fax, Teleconferencing, Telepresence, Mobility, Cloud, Fax)- bonus - knowledge in Broadsoft PBX
  • Reports, tracks and if necessary escalates voice platform performance issues to resolution
  • Provides support for voice/Telecom platform issues
  • Responsible for following IT policies(change control) and procedures for strict access controls to customer, company and voice system information
  • Handling all levels of telecom support to resolve all telecom issues in a timely manner
  • Functioning as a subject expert for telecom hardware/software solutions- bonus:- audiocodes, xmedius, vocera, virtual appliances, SIP and VOIP trouble shooting
  • Conducting software release and testing in line with established change control processes
  • Monitoring telecom performance and making recommendations for improving efficiencies
  • Establishing procedures for the backup of system components and disaster recovery testing
  • Assists in the planning and development of the project scopes, procedures, budgets and overall project schedules
  • Networking background- bonus
Education and Experience:
  • Associate degree in Computer Science or related field of study/experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience with s,any equivalent education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been demonstrated/achieved.
  • Experience with Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and Computer Telephony Integration (CTI), preferred, ACD call center experience. Experience with Gateway
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate Voice or Cisco Certified Network Professional Voice certification, preferred
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate, a plus
