SCOPE/PURPOSE OF POSITION: Sr. IT Business Analyst, Commercial will work closely with business teams in the commercial space, including Customer Experience, Sales, Marketing and pricing teams to understand requirements and pain points and deliver appropriate IT solutions. The candidate will also partner with the internal cross-functional IT teams and vendors to deliver solutions on commercial applications like Salesforce.com, SAP Hybris, Microsoft BI and other related technologies. The candidate should have strong organizational skills to multi-task across multiple projects to ensure successful delivery

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience on CRM and/or e-commerce technologies like Salesforce.com and SAP Hybris
  • Ability to manage small initiatives/projects
  • Leadership capabilities (ability to think creatively and strategically and influence others)
  • Ability to work independently (take ownership of activities and lead to closure without supervision)

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead and liaise engagements with business teams to gather business requirements, create business process flows, and discuss solution designs
  • Understand business process, use cases, requirements, product functions, system integrations and data flow in depth
  • Build user stories and to-be process flows to support the design and development of IT solutions
  • Work closely with technical team to translate business requirements into technology design and solution
  • Continuously engage with business teams to manage application enhancement streams
  • Provide day-to-day operational support to business teams and commercial applications by coordinating support with appropriate IT teams
  • Manage small initiatives/projects to meet scope, budget, and timeline and business benefits/deliverables
  • Ability to influence and guide the conversation with strategic focus and long term thinking

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience on CRM and/or e-commerce technologies like Salesforce.com and SAP Hybris
  • Experience in creating, maintaining and supporting all application development artifacts including user stories, process flows, screen mockups, data diagrams, business rule definitions, design documents, user manuals and training materials
  • Flexibility to work with remote and global teams and time zones
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills

DESIRED SKILLS
  • com or SAP Hybrids (SAP Commerce) Certification and solid understanding of the platform and its architecture
  • Both business process savvy and technology savvy. Ability to learn quickly in both business domain and technology domain
  • Self-motivated, independent and results oriented mindset with experience in project management, software and application development methodologies
  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Familiar with SDLC (software development life cycle)
