Job Description
Position works in Quality Control to ensure product specifications are strictly adhered to by performing incoming, first sample, in-process, and final quality control inspections of product using a microscope and various measurement tools
Major Responsibilities of the Position (no more than four):Inspect and record results of product at specified stages of the production process to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products
Enter data into SAP system software during inspection procedures
Responsible for compilation of inspection reports and records

Communication of visual and dimensional results to production (machinists and visitage)
Other Duties:
To review and complete manufacturing generated device history record documentation
Other duties as may be assigned by the head of Quality Engineering
Other duties as assigned by the Quality Control Supervisor / Lead Quality Control Inspector
Qualifications
High degree of attention to detail
Strict, uncompromising adherence to quality standards
Excellent visual acuity; ability to use a microscope for long periods of time
Ability to use computers for collecting and logging data; familiar with Microsoft Office productivity software (Excel, Word at minimum)
Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures
Knowledge of inspection and quality control methods, techniques, and equipment strongly desired
Knowledge of use of a wide variety of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and optical measuring equipment strongly desired
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings for machined parts strongly desired

Understanding of the machining process and familiarity with machining equipment strongly desired
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Sit/stand for 8 hours
