Our direct client is a leader in innovation with advanced IT solutions around noval energy solutions and smart technology. They are looking for a Linux and Storage Solutions Engineer. Type - Fulltime (Will sponsor Visa for the right candidate) Location: Remote or hybrid in Waltham, MA Experience and Skills - Experience with Linux / Unix - Storage experience, Storage Area Network, RAID - TCP/IP networking experience - A genuine passion for engineering high-quality solutions - Advanced analysis and problem-solving skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Relevant formal education, including BSCS or MSCS Primary Qualifications: - Deep understanding of Engineering Processes - Some structured programming knowledge in any programming language for example Java - Strong teamwork, work ethic, and initiative to learn - Experience in one or more scripting languages such as Bash/Python/Perl - 6-10 years of hands-on contribution in Sustaining Engineering or related field - Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner - Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and highly driven About Maxonic: Since 2002 Maxonic has been at the forefront of connecting candidate strengths to client challenges.
