Passionate about communicating our total company capabilities, we articulate our collective company strengths to develop compelling customer value propositions and drive increased customer awareness. In parallel, we create complementary commercial tools to drive growth in target markets.Discover Impactful Work:This dynamic contributor is an important driver of Thermo Fisher’s strategy for some of our top growth segments. Energetic and customer-centric, this marketing authority will be accountable for synthesizing insights, trends, and relevant market dynamics and for guiding development of high impact customer value propositions. A collaborative approach, characterized by strong connections with commercial, marketing and expert colleagues, will be critical for supporting and actioning a marketing strategy targeted at key customers. In addition, there will be responsibility for development and execution of a training program for commercial & marketing colleagues across the company. Strong linkages with our digital team to develop marketing strategy, approach & assets will guide the customer journey in key growth areas. This colleague will operate in a diverse and matrixed environment, and align with key functions and colleagues to assure harmonized and effective total company messaging.The position offers an incredible opportunity to gain an understanding of our comprehensive portfolio and to integrate it, in a meaningful way, to support our customers on their quest to produce innovative and life-changing therapies.A day in the life:

Collaborate with marketing, functional and specialist colleagues throughout the organization to ensure that our marketing approach and customer value proposition (CVP) development roadmap reflect and support our go-to-market strategy.

Create messaging frameworks and related customer-facing collateral to aid in cross-sell and launch of multi-group/divisional offerings.

Ensure that customer challenges and barriers to deep engagement, reflected in VOC and commercial feedback, are reflected in CVP collateral and tested with customers prior to broad launch activities.

Based on the marketing roadmap, leverage internal marketing and specialist networks to support creation of differentiated segment level CVPs and participate in modality or indication level CVP creation.

Work closely with Global Brand, Corporate Communications and Digital Customer Marketing teams to harmonize messaging, coordinate efforts, and align on strategic priorities.

Plan and support delivery of commercial/ marketing training for CVP deployment.

Use marketing experience, industry/technical knowledge and customer-centricity to build compelling value propositions and support digital marketing strategy as well as division, group, regional and corporate-led campaigns.

Measure the impact of marketing activities and course-correct as needed.

How will you get here:Education

BA/BS required, preferably with major/minor in sciences or business

MBA or graduate degree preferred

Experience

5+ years of demonstrated ability in marketing, including customer value proposition work, commercial/ marketing tools generation, digital enablement and delivery of go-to-market objectives

Experience in navigating a highly matrixed organization, leading through influence and participating on successful teams.

Ability to prioritize based on business impact, while balancing/making progress on longer term goals.

Familiarity with the Biotech, BioPharma and Life Science industries preferred.

Strong digital marketing background is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Proficient in SharePoint
