After a very brief onboarding process on the first day, new employees will train/work from home until such time that it is deemed safe to return to the office.Provide application design and programming expertise and guidance to IT professionals involved in the correction, enhancement, and new development of our business applications, working both individually and within a team environment. Perform complex systems analysis, design and programming duties ensuring department standards and quality control processes are upheld.Work with IT functional areas to identify, propose and implement new technologies as solutions to business direction and strategies. Lead the decision making process with all levels of IT staff and management, as well as on project teams and make recommendations to effectively implement project requirements.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent, related experience.

Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of practices within field. Integrates and evaluates new advancements in industry, concepts, techniques and standards to contribute to successful business results.Considered an expert in the field within the organization.

Decision Making: Makes decisions using broad management limits. Applies guidelines and procedures that leave considerable room for discretion and interpretation.Decisions directly influence project, client relationships and or expenditures.Additionally, decisions exert some influence on organization's long-range goals and objectives. Participates in determining objectives of assignments.

Application Development Technologies Include: JAVA, HTML, Node, REST API, JBPM, Drools, Spring Boot, AWS, Docker, Microservices and Angular

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Technical Architect with 8+ years’ experience with Web Technologies in multiple platform development
Architect in planning and executing various phases of SDLC (Agile, Kanban, Waterfall) such as Requirements and Analysis, Design and Development, Testing, UAT and Production Delivery for business and IT solutions.
Hands-on experience/exposure to AWS technologies and solutions (or other cloud provider), CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins, Docker, GitHub and Maven build process and DevOps highly desired.
Having rich knowledge and troubleshooting capabilities in one or more of these technologies.
Working as Technical Lead, interacting with customers (internal and external as needed), analyzing their requirements and recommend the best practices design, working with team to deliver zero defect and best quality product.
Involved in developing prototypes, POCs and helped business users elicit and document requirements and business rules
Worked in close consultation with the customer so that the requirements and objectives are fully incorporated before deadline keeping quality in focus.
Hands on experience and good domain knowledge in Insurance, Digital/Direct Channels, DevOps.
Core team member of the team engaging the customer during crisis resolution, requirement elicitation and design phase of the product

Experience working on proposals and proposal level estimation of the business applications and recommending appropriate technology choices
