What you’ll doWork within Cytiva’s R&D organization to help develop the next generation of TFF filters developed to suit our customers within the pharmaceutical industry. In this role you will work with senior engineers to help build and test prototypes in the “proof of concept” phase of our technology process.Actual activities could include:

Build various prototypes and subassemblies using various manufacturing methods.

Assess the technical feasibility of concept designs through building and testing of prototypes or theoretical calculations and/or simulations. Writes test protocols to verify or evaluate design performance. Generates reports and presentations related to design activities.

Writing standard operating procedures for assembly and testing.

Create and execute test plans including integrity, hydraulic, Instron, burst, cycle, shelf-life testing, etc.

Executes experiments required to evaluate prototype products and/or processes with biological products.

Evaluate and communicate test results, Provides regular technical updates and project summaries to R&D management and other key stakeholders.

Responsible for the timely delivery of application deliverables such as prototype evaluation, scalability testing, performance maps, and product benchmarking.

Conducts data analysis, utilizes analytical instruments and performs characterization studies with biological products.

Be a team member in cross functional teams gathered to either resolve a specific issue and / or develop a specific product.

Helps develop project plans, stage gate deliverables, conducts design reviews, and anticipates project roadblocks, delays and risks.

Who you areBasic Qualifications:

Working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering.

Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and generating drawings.

Proficiency in Lab notebook good documentation practices.

Working knowledge of common engineering materials.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)

Team player, self-motivated and perseverance in face of technical challenges.

Data and process driven.

Communicates effectively with team members and next level leaders via presentations, reports, etc.

Exhibits skills in leadership, conflict resolution, and consensus building.
