The Lathrop Community, a Kendal affiliate is seeking a part time prep cook to join our culinary team. Lathrop is an over 55 residential community with locations in Easthampton and Northampton. Our scratch menu is created weekly and includes 3 meals, homemade pastries and catered events.
Lathrop is seeking an energetic, talented person with creative ideas and a passion for cooking and baking. This position will assist the Culinary Services Manager and Chef in preparing meals and for events. The successful candidate will be trained on the cooking line and will be working both independently and as part of the team. Previous experience in a culinary department preferably in a senior living community but will train the right candidate.
This part time, up to 24 hour per week opportunity requires flexibility in schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
