We are seeking a full-time Residential Advocate to work in an Emergency Assistance shelter located in Springfield for the Mon-Fri 4p-12a shift.
Responsibilities include: maintaining program schedule; facilitate resident participation in meetings/groups; ongoing individual resident support; maintaining required documentation and daily program communication; consistent monitoring of building for safety and security. Crisis intervention as necessary. Strong candidates will have related experience with homeless families and housing programs; Previous counseling or advocacy experience and strong interpersonal skills required. Bilingual Spanish-speaking a plus. Wage range $15.00 - $17.15 per hour depending on education and experience, plus benefits and excellent training provided. Resumes accepted until position is filled.
