We have 2 Acres of land on the banks of the Connecticut River in Greenfield, MA and are searching for a couple folks with a passion for permaculture, forest farming, and gardening in general. The soil on the property is very rich and would be easy to work with. Unfortunately, with Covid- 19 we are limited in funding. Nonetheless, we would love to get help with designing the proper plantings, deciding which flora on the property to keep, which to remove, and we are also looking for help preparing the land.
The house on the property is under renovation and is mostly gutted, but there is a working restroom (and potential place to set up camp). If anyone is in a camping mode and wants to help prepare the land for low pay we are happy to discuss that as well. It's an awesome location on the junction of the banks of the Connecticut and Deerfield river.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy the sun, view, get some exercise during these crazy times and expand your resume for larger projects in your future.
