The Weatherization Manager's role is considered a "tool-belt on" role for a large proportion of the time. They will oversee the day to day operations of the weatherization department of the company. Review and schedule new jobs and assure the staff has information, materials, and tools needed to complete the job effectively.
Qualifications:
Have exceptional knowledge of building materials, techniques, and codes
Well organized
Excellent communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Work as a team member
Able to acquire required licenses and certifications (HIC, BPI, HERS rater, OSHA 30)
Responsibilities : (include but are not limited to)
Look at, evaluate, and schedule jobs from various agencies and contractors
Organize and implement residential and commercial projects
Sales - attend business meetings with agencies, submit bids on commercial projects, give estimates for private work
Maintain contact with local and state agencies we do work with
Billing for all completed jobs, including break down of material costs to particular jobs
Acquire and schedule material deliveries for projects
Oversee job sites, inspect progress and quality of work performed
Creating and maintaining current price lists for work specifications
Review and oversee profit margins for past and current projects
Fill out and file building permits for projects
Maintain project files (billing, notes, pictures, etc)
Attain and maintain required job certifications and licenses
Jump in and work in field as needed
Interview and hire new employees
Customer service
Schedule truck and equipment maintenance
