Weld Power Generator is looking to add to their team and is currently hiring for the position of:

Assistant Service Manager

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am “ 5:00pm EST with a 1-hour lunch.

Primary Purpose of this position:

To ensure the daily operation of the service department continue to align with Weld Powers overall company mission. This position acts as a liaison between technician and customer while also maintaining the continued production of the service department by maximizing the opportunities presented for increased revenue and sales.

Key Performance Areas:

1) Serve as primary backup to the Service Manager

a. Assume the role of Service Manager if Service Manager is unavailable.

b. Briefing the Service Team on any issues / problems that arise.

2) Sales Efforts

a. Job Quoting

b. Emailing quotes to customers

c. Entering information into CRM management system (Salesforce).

d. Routine Follow-up via email and phone.

e. Occasional site visits

3) Technician Engagement

a. Speaking with technicians at each jobsite.

b. Make decisions on how a technician is to proceed when issues arise.

c. Assist in daily technician job productivity.

4) Customer Engagement

a. Updating with status of equipment.

b. Routine follow-up to discuss (outstanding) repairs.

c. Provide periodic updates on lead / repair times.

d. Address customers questions.

5) Teamwork

a. Work with Parts Manager to formulate repair jobs.

b. Work with Service Coordinator on job scheduling.

c. Work with Rental Manager on deployment of Rental generators.

6) Attend selective meetings requested by customers or management.

a. Build / construct / alter customer specific spreadsheets.

7) Any other task deemed necessary by management.
