Customer Service Representative (Southborough)

CoWorx Staffing is currently hiring for a client of ours in Southborough! This is not a call center role, as a Customer Service Representative you will need to think strategically and lead strong client-facing communication efforts by developing new prospects and engaging existing customers to improve on services.

Daily responsibilities include; receive, process, change and expedite orders via telephone, fax and email on a daily basis. Maintain ongoing communication on a daily basis with customers, distributors and representatives regarding questions, requests, price quotes and orders status.

Responsibilities to include:

Receive, process, change and expedite sales orders, customer/prospect request via email, telephone and fax on a daily basis.

Issue Purchase Order Requests to the Materials Manager for Distributive product customer orders.

Distribute sales orders to Accounting, Sales, Manufacturing, and Quality review as outlined in the process.

Maintain ongoing daily communication with customers, distributors and representatives regarding questions, requests, price quotes, samples and order status.

Set-up new customers and submit to accounting for credit approval.

Occasionally back up Accounting by conducting collection emails on delinquent accounts.

Review and monitor inventory with factory personnel on a weekly basis.

Take ownership of customer issues and follow problems through to resolution.

Keep accurate records and document customer interaction and discussions

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

o Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

o Must have excellent computer skills with knowledge of MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Powerpoint presentations, email and database management.

o Must have the ability to support team work while working independently.

o Must have the ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.

o Must have a professional and pleasant phone manner.

o Must be capable of handling multiple tasks at the same time.

o Must possess superior communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise good judgment, patience and tact when dealing with all inquiries and capable of working with individuals at all levels.

o Must demonstrate the ability to operate office equipment efficiently.

This is a part time opportunity, but can turn into a full time role for the right individual. Ideal hours are Mon-Fri 10-4, but can be flexible.
