APT Management, Inc is a Woburn MA based property management company currently seeking a full-time Resident Services Coordinator. This position provides on-site services for two different properties in Marlborough, MA and Ashland, MA.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Counseling or a related specialty or significant work experience relevant to the position. The right candidate will be an energetic self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must be willing and able to network and work with community agencies. The ability to speak Spanish is preferred but not required. All candidates should have a valid drivers license and transportation between work sites and company meetings and trainings.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Support residents to enhance the quality of their lives; encourage and empower them toward self-sufficiency.

Help set a tone of inclusion and non-discrimination in the resident community.

Identify, assess, select, develop and maintain referral relationships with local agencies that effectively assist residents to achieve their opportunities and objectives in life.

Establish program targets. Consistently measure and track progress. Regularly report program outcomes to internal and external stakeholders. Analyze and use outcomes data as the basis for continuous program improvement.

Welcome new residents, establish contact with existing residents and explain the resident services program, its offerings, and the RSC role in assisting residents who want to access local service resources.

When requested, work with property management staff in mediating conflicts between residents.

Effectively communicate with residents by newsletter, flyer, bulletin board, etc. making sure that communication is inclusive of language differences and visually impaired.

Provide supportive linkages between residents and referral agency staff when residents or agencies request assistance.

Refer concerns about lease violations to the Property Manager and work as part of the management team when a resident is identified as being in jeopardy of eviction. Offer referral support to the resident to positively and quickly rectify the situation.

Identify and assess individual family needs when appropriate. Inform the resident of available resources and provide support in accessing services successfully.

Help facilitate resident meetings and community organizing and social activities as desired by residents.
