Science Teacher - Special Education

Glenhaven Academy, a Justice Resource Institute program, is a private 766 approved residential school for adolescent students ages 12-22 with cognitive, emotional and behavioral difficulties. Glenhaven provides a complete, high-quality educational experience for each student within a safe, therapeutic environment.
Our program is seeking highly organized and professional candidates to serve as licensed Special Education teacher with experience in teaching high school level science courses. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, patient, and have an understanding of utilizing and applying the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks for students in grades 6 through 12. Experience working with adolescents in an alternative school setting or treatment program is preferred but not required.
