About our company:

The Family Pet Hospital Laser and Wellness Center has been providing top of the line, compassionate veterinary care in our community for 21 years. We specialize in proactive and comprehensive whole pet care to ensure long and healthy lives for the pets we care for and love. We also believe in developing and maintaining strong partnerships with pet owners, providing them with the peace of mind knowing that their pets are in competent and caring hands.

We are looking for a personable, passionate full-time or part-time Client Liaison to join our team.

Our recently expanded small animal practice has three veterinarians who perform medical and surgical treatment of patients. We also offer both medical and standard boarding for cats and dogs less than forty pounds, daycare for dogs less than forty pounds and grooming for both cats and dogs.

The client liaison’s role in the practice is to promote a friendly and professional environment where emphasis is placed on quality medical care, client education and teamwork. It is the responsibility of the client liaison to liaise between clients and other staff members, most importantly, the doctors.

Mission:

Our basic purpose is to enhance the well being and comfortable longevity of pets and contribute to the happiness of the families who love them.

Specific Responsibilities:

Appointment Scheduling

Grooming/daycare/boarding scheduling

Manage incoming calls

Making activation calls to remind clients of overdue services on their pets

Helping meet clients’ needs and handling small client complaints to clients’ satisfaction.

Receive and process payments

Successfully act as a liaison between clients and doctors

Skills and Qualifications:

You must want to be part of a team, and be dedicated to seeking ways to better the practice.

Up-beat personality

Ability, motivation and willingness to learn new things and multitask.

Required Competencies and Experience

1-2 years working at a veterinary practice or the equivalent

Benefits and Compensations:

Full time benefits include continuing education, 7 paid holidays, paid time off (after the first 6 months of employment), health and dental insurance (after six months). Pay starts at $14/hour depending on experience, and a raise may be awarded at the discretion of the manager and practice owner after the initial three month training/probationary period.
