Technical Lead (Java) or Java (Full Stack / Front-End) Developer. Please note that this project assignment is with our own direct clients. We do not go through any vendors. STG only does business with direct end-clients. This is expected to be a long-term position. STG will provide immigration and permanent residency sponsorship assistance to those candidates who need it.

Skills Required:
  • Cloud based, full stack web development including: Spring Framework development
  • Designing and developing REST and SOAP services
  • Front end development using Angular 2+
  • Pair programming, Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required to interact with business product owners and other internal and external team members on a daily basis

Skills Preferred:
  • Strong teamwork abilities, will be working in paired programming environment
  • Ability to switch between multiple platforms / programming languages
  • Commitment to quality and ability to multi-task effectively. - Highly motivated professional (strong desire to learn new technologies and tool sets)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work individually or as a member of a team

Experience Required:
  • Work experience in cloud native technology such as PCF, GitHub, Jenkins, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Gradle, Angular JS.
  • Experience in Agile and extreme programming practices such as pair programming, Test Driven Development (TDD) and agile methodologies
  • Experience working with databases like Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL - Experience with Java-based IDE (Eclipse or IntelliJ)
