Position: Sr. PostgreSQL Developer Location: Ann Arbor, MI (Remote) Duration: 6 months CTH Rate: Open Interview: Video Our client is in the need of a Sr. PostgreSQL developer to do the following: Design and develop in databases in PG/PLQL, PostgreSQL migrating from Oracle PL/SQL Some UI experience with technologies such as, React.JS, Node.JS. Engage in designing, developing and maintaining data warehouse models and database code. Apply industry standard best practices and techniques for designing and developing data processing logic on prem and on AWS Cloud. Review existing database design and database code and improve performance. Define, document and automate DataWarehouse operations processes. Meet service level objectives (RPO, RTO, Performance) for services in your care. Analyze and document existing database code. Help teams build reliable and scalable services. Develop processes and identify additional value-added opportunities for projects being worked on. Write application and system technical documentation. Provide technical advice to other team members. Monitor, diagnose, and correct system/ code/ operational errors. Develop pseudo codes, tables, and narrative descriptions to implement changes. Other duties and projects as assigned.
