Small Parts Assembler - Ann Arbor, MI
Masterson Staffing is hiring an Assembler to work full time in Ann Arbor, MI. The Assembler performs various standardized techniques and operations using simple hand and mechanical tools to assemble small parts.
Responsibilities of the Assembler
-Reads work orders, follows production drawings and/or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
-Verifies parts by comparing provided part with part description in work documentation.
-Builds assemblies and subassemblies
-Records results of job and/or problems with job in work documentation.
-Verifies quantity by hand counting or weigh counting using standard scales.
-Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to Unit Manager
-May be required to perform basic test functions by using soldering tools and machines, and operating ultrasonic welder
Requirements for the Assembler
-High School diploma or GED
-J-STD-001 certification desired
-Basic reading and comprehension
-Manual dexterity
-Good verbal communication
Compensation
The compensation for this position is DOQ
Shift
1st shift 7am-3:30pm OR 8am-4:30pm (voluntary OT available)
