Stellantis ICT (Information Communication and Technology) connectivity organization was established to develop a platform capable of supporting the rapid development and deployment of connected services for our customers. The connectivity applications developed by this organization is classified as MISSION CRITICAL. This classification is reserved for only our most important applications. Non-availability or poor quality of connectivity applications can seriously impact Stellantis ability to offer critical safety, security, and convenience services to our customers. The connected vehicle ecosystem covers a myriad of technologies and systems and ranges from in-vehicle to off-board systems.

As an ICT organization, our primary focus is on off-board systems and its interaction and integration with in-vehicle systems. The off-board systems are complex in that they cover cloud platforms, user channels, back-office systems, contact centers and integration with third-party systems. All of these systems must have robust solutions developed to support high availability and fast response of services expected by our customers. In addition, the connectivity systems developed by Stellantis is global (build once deploy globally) with regional adaptations.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing multiple connected services and features some of which must be done in parallel. The candidate must have a strong technical background and be well versed with systems integration as well as familiar with cloud and iOT technologies. The candidate must have an "end to end systems" thinking view and be able to quickly identify and resolve gaps in requirements that can impact the execution of a service or feature.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Responsible for the end-to-end design and delivery of bug-free off-board features
  • Works with all the stakeholder teams in an Agile way to ensure timely progress and remove all the blockers as needed
  • Responsible for managing the quality of delivery of feature and services by the suppliers within contractual boundaries
  • Builds and maintains close relationship and interaction with all the internal and external stakeholders
  • Responsible for the detailed design (API and Parm level) of the feature
  • Works with the requirements team (Feature / Product Owners) in assimilating (Feature) requirements
  • Collaborates with the Solution Architect to ensure corporate compliance
  • Coordinates design for all regions, wherever the regional responsibility is with the region
  • Lead interface design in collaboration with all the vendor stakeholders and Solution Architect, for all components
  • Work with channel leads to ensure design is consistent based on requirements
  • Ensure the DFMEA (Design failure mode and effect analysis) / TARA (threat analysis and risk assessment) risks and issues are addressed 100%
  • Provides clarification to all the development teams and resolves Dependency Trackers in a timely manner
  • Validates the estimates from the development partners and recommends approvals
  • Coordinates the resolution of all the issues identified by the various validation teams
