The Digital Cabin User Experience Engineering Manager will be responsible for staffing, managing, and leading an engineering team to design, develop and release Display modules, Rear-seat entertainment systems, and peripheral user experience devices. This role will also ensure the engineering processes, methods, and best practices are followed in developing existing and future technologies.
Responsibilities Include:- Manage and lead a team of engineers to design
- Develop and release DCUX components vehicle applications
- Work with cross-functional teams (i.e. Extended Electrical, BCI, Studio Design, Chief Engineers, purchasing, platform managers, program managers, and quality engineers) to ensure on-time delivery of the product per programs schedules
- Develop a deep understanding of consumer electronics technology trends and the competitive landscape
- Institute periodic critical design reviews at various hardware levels
- Develop technology roadmaps to keep Display and consumer electronics portfolio at a competitive advantage while providing cost-effective solutions
- Develop relationships with strategic supply base and technology partners
- Build effective team and have a development plan for every team member
- Perform PLM evaluations for the team and provide continuous feedback
