Stellantis is seeking a qualified Automated Driving Cyber-Safety Engineer who will be involved in the development of the future of vehicle features, including automated driving systems and driver assistance systems and enablers, to which ISO 21434 is applied in a manner consistent with the Cybersecurity development life cycle as well as in accordance with the quality, performance and timing requirements as defined by the Stellantis Cybersecurity Policy and Standards. The Automated Driving Cyber-Safety Engineer will be responsible for performing Cybersecurity analyses and executing related tasks for Stellantis automated driving and driver assistance advanced development projects. This includes performing system TARAs and component TARAs to define the required Cybersecurity Goals and risk mitigation actions applied to vehicle, system, hardware and software designs. This also includes identifying potential cybersecurity risks impacting the safety of safety compliant systems, subsystems and components. In addition, the engineer will interface with other vehicle teams, software feature teams and suppliers. The candidate must have the desire to develop and learn new processes and technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of modern safety critical electronic control units and possess an interest in state-of-the-art automated driving compute platforms and vehicle architectures.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the completeness/availability of all Cybersecurity documents necessary for sourcing.
  • Define the Cybersecurity requirements and create the technical documentation as required by the Stellantis Cybersecurity standards and policy.
  • Define the Cybersecurity plan in support of the program timing, and support the definition of the technical verification and validation plan of the system.
  • Participate in the EE architecture design discussions for Cybersecurity related functions including both in-house and supplier led development and ensure that Cybersecurity concepts are adequate and implemented.
  • Review safety analyses (CCA/CMA/DFA/DFMEA/FTA and FMEDA) as required, providing insight into Cybersecurity vulnerabilities which may cause a safety concern.
  • Identify critical issues and non-compliance with any of the applicable requirements of ISO21434 and the actions needed to meet the ISO21434 requirements associated with the assigned safety integrity level of the system.
  • Support advanced and pre-development as a member of a cross functional team.
  • Review supplier Cybersecurity deliverables to ensure Stellantis requirements are supported.
  • Lead or participate in reviews of Cybersecurity process work products.
  • Participate in SOTIF and Functional Safety review of process work products.
  • Coach engineering teams on Cybersecurity process- Interact and collaborate with the Central Cybersecurity team in Stellantis.
  • Actively participate in Cybersecurity or Safety workgroups, as assigned, to support development or continuous improvement in processes.
