Responsible to deliver world-class customer experience for new vehicle programs by combiningengineering fundamentals with deep understanding of product development, to include Process to improve system/vehicle test planning and assessing new features and risk assessment. Define the Quality testing fleet sizes and test locations that will capture the needed testing prior to releasing the vehicle to the customer. Work with Engineering to identify lessons learned from field and test issues. Identify vehicle and system level test issues, perform reliability analysis of test data, and develop validation recovery plans. Implement new reliability methods and accelerated testing to vehicle systems.Estimate and plan reliability fleets for vehicle programUnderstand level of change for vehicle program and assess need for special validationDocument reliability fleet plan and track/facilitate on time deliveryOrder vehicles to desired specsCompute metrics and report out status in program reviewsProcess & document fleet emission assessmentDevelop validation plans for launch gating issues and assess fix robustnessAlso, looking for someone with interest in automation of APTIV data analysis for Drive Quality Bachelor of Science degree (or higher) in Engineering or a related field. Experience in Engineering, Engineering Quality, or Product Development within an automotive company. -Good understanding of system interface as well as development / analysis of system Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, Performance Specifications, Design Verification Plan and Report, Design Best Practices, Duty Cycles, Warranty data, and Statistical tools. -Proficient in MS Office/ Google suites as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
