The Automated Driving Advanced Development team is actively searching for a component release engineer specializing in High-resolution GNSS Positioning, Inertial Measurement Units, and Lane-level Localization solutions for Automated Driving within the STELLANTIS ecosystem. This is a hands-on role with a focus on GNSS positioning engine and associated positioning software, GNSS correction services, GNSS receivers and antennas, IMU / INU, and High Precision Localization. This team and the selected candidate will develop and maintain expertise needed for STELLANTIS to select, integrate, release, and launch an end-to-end high accuracy Positioning, IMU, and Localization hardware / software solution. We are looking for a self-starter with good engineering judgement and the curiosity/motivation to learn as the technology progresses.

The selected candidate will develop/model functional requirements by working closely with Feature Owners. The selected candidate will interact closely with a variety of engineering domains, including Mapping, Vehicle Connectivity, and Backend services, in order to develop the requirements necessary to develop and integrate Positioning, IMU, and Localization technology and components into STELLANTIS architectures, vehicle platforms (prototype and production), and ECUs. The selected candidate will manage Positioning and IMU relevant suppliers and act as a technical interface to these suppliers. The selected candidate shall perform DFMEA and DVP generation and management to ensure high quality releases.
