- Day to day support and proactive monitoring of SAP BW and BI systems
- Troubleshoot and research issues
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Support SAP BW and BI end user community
- Maintain authorizations and data access to users. Follow security protocols in authorizations and keep license management in compliance
- Perform assigned tasks, including but not limited to system refreshes, client copies, installations and upgrades, patching of SAP Analytics Cloud(SAC), BW4 HANA Business Warehouse systems, job scheduling etc. administration
- Support batch/on-demand data acquisition processes with BW4 HANA, monitor query performance and perform optimizations as required
- Provision and maintain data integrations support between SAC (CORS/Import), Hadoop (SDA/SDI) and other ERP integrations (DP agents) to BW4 HANA
- Coordinate with other IT teams and System Integrators as needed
- Develop and support reporting processes using BW4 HANA data through SAC and SAP Business Intelligence platform for various budgeting and planning problems
- Engage and interact with business users to troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues
- Additional tasks, as assigned- 5 to 8 years of SAP BW4 HANA hands-on experience in providing support and maintenance activities, including patching, applying SP updates, system refreshes, transports, extractor configurations etc.
- Requirements:
- At least 7 years’ experience on SAP platform, especially as administrator for SAP BW, BW4 HANA
- Active role in at least 1 SAP lifecycle
- At least 3 years of SAP Analytics background with experience as administrator and architect is plus
- Familiar with business intelligence reporting using BeX queries and SAP BW4 HANA integration
- Hands-on experience in SAP installations and upgrades a plus includes DP agents, SDA/SDI
- Unique Competencies:
- Strong experience in SAP BW4 HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Experience with configuring and installing DP agents, SDA/SDI with BW4 HANA
- Deep knowledge of SAC administration, Data Integrations (using CORS, LDO, cloud agent connectors), user access management (Roles, Teams, Rights), Migrations
- Advanced knowledge of Data Modeling and data integration, BI Lifecycle experience
- Advanced experience in data analytics, visualizations, reporting etc…
