Role Summary: The SSP Solution Specialist Sr acts as a technology domain expert and leads implementations in the SSP domain area. The area of responsibility includes IT solutions for Group HR/ Payroll, Legal, Compliance, Purchasing, CVS, Finance and other Corporate applications. This role will require an understanding of the SSP related technologies including custom and package solutions supporting domain area in order to advise and support SSP project initiatives. The individual in this role will be required to take a strong in the implementation of HR SuccessFactors and how best to leverage for the domain area. This role will also directly engage and maintain effective working relationship within the SSP organizational units to leverage SME knowledge in definition of IT/Business solutions. Additionally, the role will execute small to medium size projects and support larger scale projects under the direction of the PIM, SSP.

Role Responsibilities: Main responsibility - Project Execution 60% of time spent
  • The SSP Solution SME Specialist collaborates with business owners to develop a project portfolio and supports the alignment and prioritization of the portfolios across the VWGoA organization.
  • The position leads delivery of projects within their respective portfolio and is responsible for quality performance (on-time, within budget and scope) in delivery.
  • The role responsible for customer satisfaction for assigned projects within their assigned business area/process field and should collaborate with business owners to develop strategic plans and encourage innovation.
  • Develop project solution approaches
  • Ensure data privacy and data compliance.
Additional responsibilities - Subject Matter expert 40% of time
  • Should be technical domain expert in SSP Business Processes & System solutions in support of the SSP PIM
  • Study and analyze key business operations in terms of processes/functions, information, technology and organization to drive innovation within business processes and supporting technologies.
  • Maintains process knowledge over the respective processes and its dependencies to the whole process chain

Qualifications:

Years of Experience:
  • 7-10 years IT industry experience
  • 5-7 years' experience in IT project execution
  • 3-5 year project or program leadership role

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related Business experience - required
  • Master's Degree (MBA/MS) - desired

Skills:
  • Business process improvement experience, utilizing tools and processed to effect positive business change
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with all management levels
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Technology savvy - skilled and comfortable in the use of modern technology in a business environment.
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking - ability to explain to an audience in simpler terms

Specialized Skills:

Required:
  • Business facing experience that includes working closely in the development and implementation of mid-size scale projects
  • Program management including strategic thinking and demonstrated competency in developing solutions to complex business problems.
  • Strong program management skills; experience in organizing, planning, and executing large scale projects involving internal personnel, contractors and vendors
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business
  • Familiarity with SAFe/ agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Global procurement technology solutions and process
  • Ability to rapidly understand business problems and translate it to solutions
