Modis is seeking an Automotive Sales Engineer for our client in the Metro Detroit area. The ideal candidate would have an Engineering background, with Sales/Account Management experience. Familiarity with braking, EPS, driveline and/or traction motor application is highly preferred.
Automotive Sales Engineer Responsibilities Responsible for the identification of new business opportunities Knowledgeable of the market conditions and competitive landscape Lead negotiations to win new business/receive quotations for new business Track price changes for engineering changes, economic changes, tariff charges, and contract review. Work with Director and VP of Sales for closings Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Engineering is preferred, Bachelor of Arts is acceptable as well.
