The Direct-to-Consumer team is in need of a strong project manager who has done Agile Delivery in a planned delivery (waterfall) environment. They will have been a Scrum Master who has done iterations within the confines of a more structured delivery environment. The Direct-to-Consumer team has a heavy focus on marketing and selling directly to the consumer, which is fairly new to the client (2-3 years now). They have historically sold through their retail partners but with shifting consumer buying habits, they have to find ways to continue to be competitive in the digital marketplace. During the pandemic, this group and the ecommerce presence have seen 500% growth in this space in 2020. More people are going to the client websites to make purchases and coordinate delivery direct with the client. This group has the most demand for IT services and the most budget to spend in 2021.The candidate does NOT have to have the specific technology skills, but have great leadership, organization and communication skills to work with different technical teams and business teams that are aligned to the project. The PM will have support from the PMO and other team members in the onboarding process, but this candidate should be comfortable reaching out to parties on his/her own to make connections and move the teams forward.About TEKsystems:We're partners in transformation.
