We Are Hiring:

Position: Medical Assistant

Office: Newland Medical Associates

Location: Primary location is Bingham Farms, MI office. Travel to office locations in Novi, MI and Southfield, MI required on occasion.

Hours: Full Time, 40 hours/week. Monday- Friday. 8am-5pm.

Assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.

• Assist with treatments ordered by physician as supervised by physician or registered nurse. Perform select clinical duties.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts. Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients.
• Perform basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.
• Perform basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies. Assists withmaintaining a clean and orderly environment.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date orjob transfer date required. American Red Cross (ARC) CPR for Professional Rescuers card will be accepted uponhire but renewal must be a BLS Provider card from AHA.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.
