Interns are assigned to an organization department based on the candidate's background, skill set and interests. They gain the communication and etiquette skills required in business while sharing knowledge gained from recent courses. They also enhance their computer skills and learn new systems and software. Each Intern assignment consists of challenging projects with specific goals, providing opportunities for personal growth and development. Interns that demonstrate outstanding qualities may be invited back the following year for a second internship or to interview for full-time positions in our various new hire programs.
Summer internships are primarily located at the Stellantis US Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan, other facilities in the Detroit Metropolitan area, and Business Centers located throughout the country. Interns may qualify for a housing allowance and/or travel assistance. During the Internship, Interns will have the opportunity to participate in many activities designed specifically to enhance their knowledge of Stellantis, our products and the metro Detroit area.
We are seeking interns for Mopar Supply Chain and Packaging Engineering.
The Mopar Supply Chain Internship responsibilities include analytics, data mining and project management assignment(s). The responsibilities will involve developing global supply chain and market (sales, marketing) assessment application tool to be used for new product (vehicle) launches. Additional projects/deliverables include: establishing proper measures for revenue, part availability, accessories, and inventory and market satisfaction with level of preparedness for each new model launch, determining and providing the design structure and data sources to make it a repeatable process, and developing proposals through ICT on design / definition for potential project funding.
The Mopar Package Engineering Intern will support the goals and objectives of the Package Engineering department at Mopar, Stellantis Service Parts division. This intern will work with the Mopar National Parts Distribution Centers and Mopar packaging facilities to ensure quality of packaging. Responsibilities will include assisting in developing quality initiatives to reduce the frequency of damage in parts during the supply chain cycle, support Mopar Package Engineers on cost saving initiatives and work with Tier One suppliers to implement new packaging for special projects. This opportunity will allow the intern to gain valuable work experience and networking opportunities in an office environment as well as having the opportunity to tour Stellantis and Mopar supplier facilities.
