We have an immediate opening for a Welder/Fabricator to join our Michigan office located in Commerce. The Welder/Fabricator will be an integral part of a team dedicated to the fabrication and creation of large custom structures used in IGI systems. We seek individuals with technical aptitude and a great attitude.Primary Role:Fabrication of IGI custom structures for large-scale, high-resolution, audio-visual systems used with IGI PowerWalls and DesignViews.Detailed Activities: Fabrication of mechanical structures.
Welding aluminum up to .25 thick.
Machining of custom parts for structures.
Assist with other tasks including installation, inventory, building maintenance, etc.Fabrication shop equipment includes Miller Dynasty 400, Miller Syncrowave 180, Millermatic 250X, Bridgeport Mill, metal lathe, various other fabrication tools.
