Business Analyst

Hiring a technical BA to lead and document requirements for multiple applications across the client's ecosystem. Individual must be a self-starter that can transpose business requirements into technical requirements to be handed off to the developers.

• Essential Job Functions:
  Elicits and clearly defines and documents needs and associated requirements (Use Cases, Functional, Non-Functional, Configuration, and Alert Requirements) Create, maintain, and enforce standards/procedures for documenting requirements and use cases. Analyzes a variety of work processes and the associated document and information flow Creates minor design changes in the form of comps/mock-ups, sequence diagrams, or dataflows for review by business client Clearly articulates and documents business requirements Facilitate meetings including design, requirements gathering, resourcing, etc. Assesses the risks of various solutions and prioritizes competing business demands Works closely with development team to transform design elements into technical requirements

• Other Responsibilities:
  Manages ongoing relationship with business partner to drive satisfaction Coordinates project delivery by participating in design reviews to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions Obtains key inputs from enterprise architecture teams and identifies solution interdependencies Engages with knowledge workers to incorporate usability and user interface needs when designing systems Process JIRA tickets for application portfolio Can perform quality assurance for troubleshooting activities, as needed

• Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:
  Broad IT domain experience in three or more of the following IT areas: Applications Development, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Vendor Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, and Maintenance & Support. Knowledge of software development and architectural concepts, principles, and tools relevant the development of applications, organizational structure, and so forth Demonstrated ability to communicate in both verbal and written communication Demonstrated analytical skills Excellent problem-solving skills Knowledge of Agile software and project management methodologies Education and Experience Associates or BA/BS degree, 5+ years of work experience 1-2 years BA experience, minimum Automotive or OEM experience is preferred.
