Electrical Simulation Engineer. Selected candidate will be expected to work remote / hybrid in Dearborn, MI 100% of the time (remote during Covid)

Position Description:

Lead implementation of the process for robust program MBSE delivery, ensuring timely and quality milestone events. • Develop and manage MBSE workplan to deliver virtual verification of requirements • Develop virtual vehicle architecture for simulation • Lead coordination of model build, analysis, and drive issue resolution across functions and attributes • Facilitate collaboration across functions & attributes to achieve Best in Class virtual verification processes • Participate in Senior Management meetings/Gateway meetings and present MBSE issues and resolutions • Identify process gaps and develop continuous process improvements. • Ensure overall quality of project solutions throughout the design process

Skills Required:Self motivated, good oral and written skills, and a willingness to learn. Knowledge of cross functional Body, Chassis, EESE, Powertrain and vehicle level simulation. Excellent collaboration skills working with multiple teams and managing a variety of projects. Leadership skills. Ability to interface with Senior Management for status updates and issues resolutions. Drive global alignment working with SMEs from all regions.

Skills Preferred:Familiar with GPDS Process and MBSE processes/standards and tools. Knowledgeable about systems engineering principles and tools.

Experience Required:13 years MBSE experience in two or more simulation tools: Matlab/Simulink, SysML/MagicDraw, Stateflow, Git/Github, Jenkins….etc.

Experience Preferred:Experience in MiL/SiL/HiL. Experience in Network topology, CAN bus and DBC files. Ability to work with minimum supervision.

Education Required:Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering required.Education Preferred:Master's degree / Ph.
