- The Advanced Engineering Delivery Team is responsible for identifying, analyzing and developing next generation connected vehicle software platforms and systems.
- This role collaborates with the Advanced Engineering Product Owners and Engineer teams to deliver advanced prototypes and pilot programs.
Skills Required: - 8+ years Java development experience
- Experience with Cloud environments (PCF/Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform)
- API/microservice development
- Strong innovative mindset
Experience Required: - Experience with TDD and Agile methodologies
- Experience with Software Development tools
- Rapid prototype development
- Open Source software experience and contributions
Experience Preferred: - Understanding of Connected Vehicle ecosystem, mobile development (ios/android)
- Understanding of in vehicle architectures, CAN messaging, and web services.
- Experience setting up a dev environment, creating testing tools and automation software
- Familiarity with mobile app architecture, code refactoring, code optimization, and security techniques
Education Required: - Bachelor s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related engineering or technical degree
